Installation:
Using the installation with mortar there is no big difference between the concrete roof stone and the clay tile except the consumption of mortar. Skeptisism sometimes arises with the installation on wooden laths.
Frequently we hear the question whether applying the laths with nails might damage the roof.
If the installation is properly done we can clearly answer with “no”. With a little spot of bitumen primer underneaththe nail the lath is sealed with the roof tightly.
Also the nail itself and we only use high quality steel nails is integrated into the construction in a way, that it will not rust.
